A peculiar literary conception of the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela, which is a worldwide phenomenon today. The well-known Czech writer covered more than 2,000 km on foot on a total of three pilgrimage routes to Santiago and processed notes from travel diaries into a story full of emotion and humor. The book is accompanied by the author's photographs and cartoon maps.
